Dr. Arun Naik is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Gold Coast University Hospital and Gold Coast Private Hospital. He holds a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Australia and has furthered his expertise with a fellowship in Colorectal Surgery at Gold Coast University Hospital. Following this, Dr. Naik completed an additional fellowship in lower gastrointestinal cancer surgery at Australia’s leading cancer institution, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, located within the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Melbourne.
Dr. Naik also holds a Master’s in Surgery and has completed advanced training, including a Doctoral degree (MCh, Magister Chirurgiae) in Surgical Oncology. Through this advanced training, he gained extensive experience in surgeries for lower gastrointestinal and pelvic malignancies. His primary clinical focus is on colorectal cancers, where he combines his advanced surgical skills with a commitment to optimal patient outcomes. He is trained to perform laparoscopic and Robotic Colorectal surgeries.
Dr. Arun Naik has extensive experience in training medical students, surgical Trainees, and colorectal surgery fellows, contributing significantly to the development of future surgeons. He has delivered numerous presentations at both national and international conferences and has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals
